Our Services & Rates
Simplified Education operates two separate schemes, both of which are aimed at Primary level up to A Levels.
1. Home Tutoring:
The tutor will be able to provide help with Maths, English and Science. However, we can try to source tutors with other specialisms if you need us to. GCSEs, SATs and Entrance Examinations are just some of the other areas we may be able to help with.
The tutor will provide worksheets that will be National Curriculum linked. All we ask is that you supply any relevant stationery, learning materials and textbooks. Payment is to be made in cash only at the end of the session. If you need to cancel a visit then please give 2 hours notice. Else, tutors will wait no longer than 15 minutes.

2. After School Centres
After School Scheme: These are run as 40 minute workshops. A maximum of 5 children are allowed to attend, thus allowing the tutor to give the class their undivided attention. Because age and ability will vary, each child will be encouraged to develop at their own pace. Each lesson will be tailored with National Curriculum learning objectives in mind and regular homework assignments will be supplied to check knowledge and understanding. Please note that all materials are included.
For Maths, our tutors will cover such topics as Numbers and the Numbers System, Calculations, Measures and Shapes, Handling Data and Problem Solving. For English, Phonics, Spelling, Vocabulary and Reading and Writing – amongst others – will be looked at.
One of the benefits of the After School Scheme is that you will be able to access feedback about your child’s progress by calling, emailing or telephoning us. All such notes will be retained in a personalised folder that your child’s tutor will have created.
